Dyffryn is not just one garden but a series of gardens consisting of a number of outdoor rooms. Each room is enclosed within clipped yew hedges and has its own distinct character.
The gardens rooms are set among broad sweeping lawns, a croquet lawn with an arboretum and wild garden.
The project to restore the gardens to the masterplan that Thomas Mawson, landscape architect designed for John Cory in 1906, should be completed in 2013.
